Using the DISC personality profile, there are far more males with dominant as the primary personality indicator than females. Additionally, females with a finding of dominant primary personality type are ashamed of their status label while males see dominant as a sign of leadership potential.

Applying DISC to the seat swap situation, neither are dominant and both are influential, however one is steady while the other is conscientious. It is in the subtle personality difference that is causing the uneasiness for both parties, leading to confrontation.

Using Myers-Briggs Type Indicator yields far more males than females that are classified closer to ENTJ label. There are more females than males with the opposite ISFP label.

In the seat swap post above, Segacs is display signs of ISTJ and coming up against another person who demonstrating ISFP. Neither is to extroverted to utter a simple no, but one is perceiving while the other is judging based upon their perceptions of thinking or feeling.
