I have owned the Western Flyer for 5 years. It has been under the seat in front of me over 1200 times, in all types of domestic planes from Embraer 145, Canadair 200, on up. It is loaded with electronics and paperwork, heavy and stuffed. Tom Bing just replaced 2 zippers for free. It is the best bag I have ever owned.
If your items fit in the bag (which I'm guessing they should) I highly recommend it.
Count me in as another recommendation for the Western Flyer! I think that it fits a good balance of size/capacity. I also have a Tri-Star but do not use it nearly as much. In fact, many days I just use the WF as an everyday carry.
