While it wasn't for myself. I did see a family member accompany and act as translator while also doing their own interview. I saw no attitude or anything from the CBO. In fact I'd say he was rather friendly & grateful along with being patient during explaining how to use the kiosk pausing for translations.
If you're planning on doing this I'd give a call or email to the office you'll be visiting to confirm there will be no issue.

Has anyone accompanied a family member to their GE interview? For example if English is not their first language, can you accompany someone to their GE interview? They would not have issues with a GE kiosk but I want to make sure they fully understand the questions asked in an interview and not give the wrong answer.

Apologies if this is answered somewhere but I couldn't find it. And the interview letter does not cover it.
