AF and LH used to disallow any discount on one-way fares, and CX still practices that to a level with regional flights.

If there's any takeaway to this story it's that FD is very much not a LCC and shouldn't be expected to price one-ways as half of the return trip.

FD does price o/w but this thread is not about FD, and there's nothing to take away from this story concerning FD save that they don't fly to/from USM. This story is about PG.
