LIRR Eastside access
Now that the 2nd Ave. Subway has opened, I was curious to see where the LIRR project stands. [About a year (or so) ago, info signs on many subway cars noted that the project is in the "works"--those signs have disappeared.]
I did some GOOGLING, the latest info I could find is that a projected date of 2023 and a cost overrun of $6.5B was noted--only 6 years away from completion...anyone taking bets?
