I've already done a gold and platinum personal card with Amex (they limit you to one bonus per card per cardholder) and I was wondering...

If someone else in my family signed up for a card would they be able to register their credit card with my SkyMiles account so the bonus and points were deposited into it instead? Is this against rules or impossible to do?
