Yes that was a mistake and at that moment it didn't occur to me. It all happened quickly and unexpectedly. Only after going back I started thinking that I shouldn't have agreed so easily. Should have asked for a new boarding pass or at least some proof that my seat was actually reassigned. Anyway, the next time this happens I'll be better prepared :-).
