I've got the legacy Platinum card as well. I get the 5k for 35k spend every year. Usually don't max out the 5k for purchases though as I can't use my card for purchasing biz travel airfare anymore Managed to get about 2.5k of it this year. Considering I barely squeaked over the 50k PQM mark this year, those 7.5k really helped me keep my Gold status.
