There are some Marriott properties I would definitely like to stay.
It's discouraging by splitting the 2 programs stay count.
I tool like that thought but my gut feel is that this will be unlikely.
The next announcement would likely be the combined / revamped program.
Meanwhile, whilst the stays and nights does not cross-over (merge to a total 2017 Stay / nights count on either program), the points earned however can now be "pooled" for redemption.
