Do non-US Medaillions members get shafted?
I was visited by a good friend of mine, french, traveling to the U.S. often, and a DL PM member.
It is clear, that the e-mailed and mailed promotions U.S. Medaillion members have received, certainly did not get to him. As an example: He had heard nothing about the recent "if you fly x-miles between Feb. 2004 through May 2004 you get Y-reward for flights between June and September 2004". Yet, when we put his SM number in through my web-link, it was accepted.
Also, he is coming back to visit in December and for the fun of it, we put in the itinerary CDG-SLC for a variety of dates and it came up only with the $7,800 B/E fare, yet, when we reversed each routing (they were all over a week), a $2,300 I fare came up.
His bias is that he and other non-U.S. Delta medaillion members get shafted compared to us U.S. comrades.
Seems to me he may be right!
