This is not my direct experience with the tickets that I booked last week for next Thanksgiving. Availability displayed at 330 days but returned an error when attempting to hold and then booked perfectly at 329 days. I held and released several destinations and every one worked that way. Also, itineraries that included flights that started at 329 but with connections at 330 also returned an error and then were fully bookable at 328 (and thus 329 days for the connection).

I saw a surprising amount of availability in Y actually which is what I booked. Much better than a year ago during the same period to places like the Caribbean, Hawaii, and Asia. Of course absolutely nothing up front.
