Why not have something like LAX-ZRH or even DFW-ZRH? There's no airline that flies SEA-ZRH non-stop which is another surprise all in itself... though you'd figure DL would be the first to wade into that territory, not AA. Still hoping to one-day see more flights to ZRH...
You may be sad about it, but that does -not- make it "odd" that they don't fly those routes.
AA used to fly DFW-ZRH and now they don't anymore-- you can do the math on that one.
And, there was a time where LX was
THISCLOSE to joining OneWorld. If that had happened and there was significant OneWorld presence at ZRH, I'm sure more ZRH service would get more consideration from AA, but, there isn't so it doesn't.
