I must say I'm totally impressed with your 3.83M miles - how long did it take to achieve that amazing number?? Do you get lifetime GS at 4M? You are right on the cusp!

Thanks. To answer: I just got a note from United saying I've been in the Mileage Plus program for 28 years so that seems to average out to a bit more than 100K per year though in the last 10-12 it's probably been closer to 150K or more/year. And indeed I expect to get 4 M and lifetime GS in 2017--my planned travel is already over 100K into summer.
