All of the rooms were updated as of October 2016. The only issue with CasaMagna vs. JW is that staying in the JW allows you access to both pools which does make a difference as the JW pool is much nicer and you can alternate between the two pools. Staying at the CM, you are limited to its pool.

I will confirm with the hotel directly, but does anyone know if the standard "resort view" king rooms at this property were remodeled in 2014? Specifically do these rooms also have the updated bathrooms with separate showers? The room details and photos seem to suggest this but it isn't specifically mentioned.
The rates here are better than the JW next door (where I've usually stayed) for the dates I'm considering and the room photos make the Casa Magna look significantly fresher.
