IB has a fairly unique IT solution - they use 2 systems - Amadeus for some functions (mostly reservation) and Resiber which is used for hosting and check-in purposes. Amadeus and Resiber sometimes have issues with talking to each other - not to even mention situations when a third system (AA's SABRE) comes to the picture... It will not change any time soon...
