I have an American friend who's fluent in Italian and English who was in a coffee shop in Rome one morning reading an Italian newspaper. American couple comes in and proceeds to bicker. Woman says, in English, " No, I won't marry you" and proceeds to list the guy's inadequacies, including poor performance in bed. My friend just hid behind his newspaper.
