@IHGservice can normally deal with general queries such as missing points etc. They have dealt with bigger issues on my account so they can go beyond the basics.
If if they can't they will normally pass you onto IHG Rewards who will respond to you from the email address that's listed in an earlier post with the telephone numbers.
As I suspected, twitter seems to be the way to sort these type of issues quickly.
