I am in a status match qualification period to Delta Gold from Alaska Gold MVP, and already have a flight booked during the period on Alaska using a Gold Guest Upgrade. I'm trying to determine whether I will accrue MQM's for that flight. These Alaska upgrades book as U fare class; is there any way I can determine the underlying fare class to ensure that Delta properly credits me MQM? From what I understand, by default they wouldn't credit anything as U is not one of the classes they credit for, but perhaps if I can find the original fare class before the upgrade, that would be eligible.
