OP - Are you a UK national (or at least not a USN)? How did you wind up in secondary. The "black X" is not that uncommon but generally does not wind one up in secondary so many would be interested in learning how that happened as it generally means a quick stop by a CBP Officer with an extra 30-45 seconds of wait time.
