If BA codeshare operated by Iberia Express you need to call BA for seat allocation. Neither Iberia call centre nor website will work - in fact Iberia will direct you back to BA if you call them. BA can do it, albeit they have to use a different screen/process. Most call centre staff know how. Have done this a few times by calling up.
