If it helps with the geography at all, both the Royal York and the IC are on Front Street north of the train tracks, whereas the new Delta (Marriott) is a block south of the tracks, about half-way between the ACC (NHL, NBA) and the Rogers Centre (MLB) and is next to the Ripley's Aquarium. The Renaissance (Marriott) is also nearby in the Rogers Centre. The IC is closest to the Convention Centre if that's your ultimate destination.

The Royal York is older (small rooms) with excellent amenities; the IC is newer but not as "classy". It was great when built, however never recovered from several years of Holiday Inn mismanagement.
