I was offered a $400 VDB voucher for the first leg of a ROC-EWR-STL trip on 12/29 (6:05 am dep.). I considered taking it, but the GA couldn't find a way to get me to STL the same day. She looked rerouting me on AA and DL also with no luck. This ticket put me over the $6K PQD threshold for Premier Gold in 2016.

The potential of this situation brought up an interesting question (to me at least): Had I taken the bump and been put on AA or DL, would I have lost PQD for the flight since I would not have flown UA metal? If so, would I have had any recourse to request ORC for the PQD?
