Brief web search shows the OP is a young entrepreneur who owns an app and business development firm. Congrats to him for being a small business owner. That's tough to do while being enrolled in college.
Being 18, this would likely be his first year of HHonors membership due to the program requiring a member be 18 years old. So congrats to him for getting an early start on LTD status. He'll have it by the time he's 28!

You had crap service at a rural hotel. If "media outlets" is Trip Advisor, by all means. If you mean local TV and newspapers, I'd let it go. Use your free-night certificate and forget about it.
