I booked MAN to MNL stopping off both ways for a long period in HKG for £1,043. That was out January back April. The previous day it was only only offering £1,500. But that day I could have got BKK, SIN and several other destinations for not much over £1,000. Often if you cant get the price online for the exact flights you want calling the London call centre will deliver the desired result - at a lower price than online. Unfortunately I haven't seen many decent ex MAN CX offers in J since the service launched.

QR regularly come up with very cheap J offers ex MAN and EDI. The downside is the cheapest flight options can have very long stopovers in DOH.
