Hi txflyer77,

Thanks for your replying!

I see Red Oxx Air Boss as a wonderful product, and they are really good for business travelers. May I ask if you are perfectly happy with them? or do you see something they can improve?

I personally don’t see us as a direct competitors with them. They place themself perfectly with the unbeatable neat solution for the main concerns for business travel, while we want to deliver a bag with more feature (even you don’t need them that often, but they are there when you need them) to make casual travelers travel easier.

For casual travelers, they might not be that organized and may encounter many situations that business travelers don’t.

For points 1-5, These feature is kind of new comparing to traditional carry-ons. The battery charger let you charge your phone on your way so you don’t have to do that when you are on a plane, weight scale is integrated in the handle bar and also comes with an app where you can enter your flight number and info to make sure your carry-on is the appropriate weight. And the tracking seems like a useful feature for the more forgetful among us, who might find ourselves wandering the duty free section of the airport and leaving our bag behind.
6) QR code. Maybe this is just bad copy, but I honestly don't understand the purpose here. Airlines are going to track the bag with their own tags and nobody who sees that thing will know what it's for.
Sorry for the bad copy. This is an electronic tag where you can also input your flight information and ultimately track past trips or share itineraries with friends. I know it’s not necessary, but it is a different experience right?
8) Life-time warranty. I've worked at startups, and this is harsh, but I know that guarantee isn't worth anything if there's no reason to believe the company won't be around longer than the bag. Most startups fail.
No this is the truth, I totally understand. And that's why we are trying hard to gain trust, aren’t we?
9) Fragility. With all the extra features, plus wheels, hard shell, etc, I'm not sure I trust that this bag is up to the task. I've dropped mine in the Gulf of Thailand and seen it fall off the back of pickup trucks on mountain roads. It's plenty scuffed up. This is one of the reasons I don't want a bag that looks nice: it won't look nice for long.
The Makrolon-PC materials we are using might help with this, they are more anti-scratch comparing to normal ABS-PC shell.
I agree with other posters that the poor copy is a big problem. "Win A Luggage For Free" is not proper English.
Yes this is a big problem, we are working hard on that.

Again thanks for all the feedback! We really appreciate that!
