As much as I love KE service, D1 1-2-1 seating wins against old style 2-3-2. On the 747 upper deck, KE's 2-2 seating is staggered, so window seats have directly aisle access, huge storage bins and 5 windows, so I would pick KE for that. And KE cooks your steak to order, even medium rare. Check the seating arranement carefully , as some of their 777s have the new staggered seats.
