I have been asked for proactive VDB/reroute on another carrier on domestic itineraries but never international and never in business/first class. It doesn't make any sense to reroute a business class passenger then upgrade someone from economy to clear an overbooking situation when they could just reroute the economy pax in the first place for less money.
