I'm a little confused by the info out there. Flying the B789 YYZ-LAX and told twice by AC that rows 12-14 are not premium economy and they are just preferred seating. Seat guru for sure is showing it as a separate cabin and the cost to upgrade $117.00 CAD. I was on this aircraft last year MUC-YYZ in Executive First, pretty sure it's the same aircraft?! Help please thanks.

Air Canada does not yet sell the Premium Economy rows 12-14 on domestic and transborder routes. Yes, they are considered "Preferred Seating" which you can select for an additional fee unless you have status.
P.S. I just flew on that aircraft to LAX last week, sat in 12K on the way there. Perfect.
P.S. The business class cabins on international flights are called "International Business Class"
