Yes starts in HKG with much nicer lounges.
J class on CX is roomy and comfortable. On AC the table does not "disappear" and makes it less comfortable when you are sleeping. It just feels more cramped.
Service is much better on CX. And Food much better on CX.
Also the toilets are bigger on CX and cleaned during the flight.
Amenity kit nicer on CX.
CX J seats are indeed more roomy since you don't have the table obstructing your legs when you are sleeping.

As for the amenity kit, AC is really due for a change, they have been using the same kit since they launch the Dreamliner in autumn 2014... while CX and even United change theirs on average 1 to 2 times a year.
