Only thing for Starwood in Whitefield is an Aloft and a Four Points and they both sound like a terrible way to spend a week in India. Starwood has some nice properties in Bangalore, but the nice ones are too far away from Whitefield. You would easily spend an hour and a half in traffic from those other properties each way.

Go for what you seem to already know. The lounge will be nice and you cannot beat a 10 minute walking commute in Bangalore.
