The key issue here is whether the AA flights stayed the same or not. This is because BA had moved their flights some months earlier. If AA stayed the same, and therefore the rebooking was only triggered 11 days before departure, then I think you are in with a claim. If AA also moved their timings too to create the sub 2 hour connection then you won't get very far. I imagine you will have to be very persistent to get compensation since this sort of thing is quite rare in the way it played out in the way it did here.

They annoying thing is, incidentally, that I tracked the flights on the day concerned and you would have had plenty of time in Denver, the AA flight got in a bit early and the BA service was just a few metres away.

I've actually just had a dig through all my emails associated with the booking and found the original booking email from the TA.

LAX-DEN 1245-1601
DEN-LHR 1750-0935

I would be interested to know (if the info is available), when MCT from DEN was changed to 2 hours as from the original booking times, it looks as though the TA sold me a ticket they shouldn't have
