I'd be grateful for some advice.

It's a long way off but I've got a BAEC redemption booking which included BKK-DOH in First with Qatar. Unfortunately, it seems that an equipment change means that the flight no longer has a First cabin, so I've been downgraded to Business. I know I can cancel, but if I don't (I'm really hoping that F will be reinstated) what would I get back? Would I need to leave it until after flying to claim something back?

I hardly ever book premium cabins, so I've no idea what to expect.
