Not totally true. The B777-300ER when they first arrived could not do YYZ-HKG without a load penalty. Since delivery (about 2-3 years ago iirc) AC had some parameters changed on the original -300ERs and they do find themselves onto YYZ-HKG. Based on how often I see it.... I would be guessing at 5x a month.... but it does happen with surprising frequency.
