I am super elite with air Canada and I am trying to find the easiest way for my wife to get a free checked bag when she travels without me. I try to book her tickets using my aeroplan points that I have as I would rather book her on an aeroplan ticket than a revenue ticket. how can I get her a free checked bag when doing this? (I book her aeroplan tickets in economy)... I know I can sign her up for an aeroplan credit card that gives her a free bag but my understanding is that is only when booking a reward aeroplan ticket from HER aeroplan account.

Any ideas? I know I can gift her 50k status with my super elite privileges but I would rather take the Eupgrades and double aeroplan bonus.
