Yes, it's possible to book the MI flight on an MH code if you're willing to pay FULL FARE Y... Forget SZB and anything from KLIA2, unless you want to pay for a taxi ride

Might be worth checking Malindo and Jetstar Asia to see if they have earlier departures from KLIA1, if you're *really* desperate to get to SIN earlier
