Thanks all for the advice- I had forgotten about my AMEX Plat coverage. I will claim the hotel through them & keep the 25% off code from AC. It still irks me a bit that AC didn't follow through with what their agents were promising that evening. Either the agents gave out incorrect info, or as some have said, they are trying to get away with whatever little they can. The 25% off could actually
end up being a good deal!
