The 744 breakdowns seem to have been happening a lot more in Asia (e.g., the PEK case noted above) than in Europe (FRA, LHR) recently. Is it just coincidence, or do you think that UA takes EU-261 into account in its 744 maintenance and dispatching decisions?
My guess is they look at what will have the least amount of trickle down effect.
