Let me belatedly add something.

My first ba flight for about 18 months. KIN-LGW in J. Service pretty good and very friendly, but

- no bread plate. Plonk your bread on the tablecloth
- bog standard dinner rolls...the fancy choice of different breads is gone
- no choice of gin
- nuts that used to be warmed and served in a little bowl now plonked down in a packet
- passengers no longer addressed by name but instead as sir or madam in the third person, or in the case of my wife as 'sweetie pie'
