Seeking sage reassurance - GVA / USA advice
Hi all,
Little bit of quick advice please.
Landed into GVA on the BA2736 to start my ex-eu to LAX. My departing plane is in 3 hours so no problem there.
Upon arrival I went through passport control but did not leave the airport, took transit route to the lounge and am now writing from there. I am all checked in for all my upcoming flights and just want to be reassured that boarding wont have any issues as I have not gone through security in Geneva. Additionally I am HBO as the forum suggests!
All my previous ex-eu's have involved overnight stays so I never gave much thought to security as I always left the airport. The turnaround guide suggests many simply walk straight back up to the gate to re-board the same plane. My brain tells me that as B2B are so well documented my fears about security are unfounded but given the USA is involved I was curious if additional passport checks are required.
Do let me know if I have missed a step, would hate for my onward flights to be cancelled because I didnt clear a barrier somewhere!
Edit: I should add I travel on a US visa on a UK passport for reasons!
Thanks
