Hi all! I have been reading every thread I can find about Bali, specifically Ubud in anticipation of my upcoming honeymoon in May-June 2017. I've booked 3 nights at Dwaraka and wanted to know if anyone on here could provide any insight regarding the experience at the property. My goal is to have the jungle luxury experience - think Viceroy Ubud (with a significantly lower price tag). I'm open to changing my plans but this place seems to be a fantastic value as it provides airport transfers, breakfast, excursions, massages, and a private Balinese cooking lesson for ~$700 total in a private villa with plunge pool.

Chedi also seems to be a great value but the property seems less impressive and more like a park. I find it hard to justify Amandari, Mandapa, or the FS given how much more Dwaraka provides for the money. Theoretically I could spend up to $450-500/night on this stay but I want to be sure it's worth it.

My fiancée and I are both active but both want to spend some time just relaxing in the presence of the natural beauty that central Bali has to offer. Any insight would be very much appreciated and happy holidays to all!
