A few years ago with many ac on old IFE systems, I encountered quite a few issues, but usually these were sorted after the system had been re-set. I think I only ever once had a total failure, annoying as it was. In the last 4-5 years I have not personally experienced any problems at all. If I did I would expect some recompense because it is very much BA's "operational fault".
