MH and Firefly/MASwings' situation in oneworld is not unlike SQ and Silkair. You do not earn, nor get any benefit for being a OWE/OWS unless the program is MH's Enrich.
This is because Firefly and MASwings are not affiliates of oneworld, unlike KA.
You might also want to note as well that Firefly's flights do not go to KUL (KLIA), but SZB (Subang airport), which is nearer to the city but really meh. Firefly operates an all-turboprop fleet - hence is slower - and so it is much advisable to just take a standard Malaysia Airlines flight from KLIA.
