But thought I'd mention it. It looks like a newer ppty, nothing extraordinary, but clean with a pleasant staff.
There are 2 HGI in the downtown NO area; the one on Peters Street is withjin walking distance of the Hilton Riverside, Harrah's casino, etc. It's in an old warehouse district but the hotel is nice; rooms when I stayed last summer were nicely priced (think I paid about $50 a night) but the parking added about $20 per night...I don't recall seeing the other before so it must be new, but there's also an HGI in the French Quarter now.
The airport HGI is aways away from the airport in Kenner; it's next door to one of the riverboat casinos...
