YVR to YYZ or YUL would be Air Canada flight. I would fly theAC 767 over the 320 any day, especially if you are in the front section.
The YVR YUL flight is an overnight red-eye eastbound with a time change of three hours shortened.

The YVR-YYZ flight you listed is a lie-flat seat, the YVR-YUL flight is a red-eye in a standard recliner seat. You can get from YYZ to downtown Toronto very easily via the express train, which even offers a discounted "long layover" fare to return within 7 hours.
