I remember in the 80s before NZ introduced Bix Class seeing David Lange and Rob Muldoon sitting in row 1 with an empty seat next to them. I also rememeber seeing various MPs hanging around that horrible WLG airport waiting to board. These were the days before the Koru Lounge and air bridges.
