I was once asked to re-scan my card every 3 hours at a lounge in KBP - I was there for at least 6 hours total thanks to IRROPS, I think they scanned my PP card two or three times.

I didn't get charged anything because I had a Select membership through Amex, but it went down as multiple visits on my account.
