On a different subject, the latest quarterly web cast indicated that 742 is an expensive aircraft to operate. Despite this, I believe (no data here), the load on 742 between SEA to NRT has been full most of the time. Is Northwest expecting some significant drop in passenger traffic when PDX comes on line to Tokyo?
