R, the next fare up, comes in at £7686 in ITA. NOT a typo.
As Ldnn1 has suggested, there may be a changeable I-bucket fare that is less painful but I don't have that kind of access.
This is an oil route so I doubt many people on the flight are actually paying public fares.
In any event, here is the tariff. There are several "reasonably priced" R- fares permitting changes at 300 GBP but there are 90 day advance purchase requirements and limited validity periods in all cases until we get to RNN0Y4C3.
The I- fares do not permit changes.
