And yeah, if OP has brand spanking new elevate account + brand spanking new AS account with no history + large SPG transfer + not-US address, it's possible they could ask questions. My guess is that having someone fly with OP is probably less likely to attract attention as "possible mileage broker". That being said, yeah, they do shut accounts down. Caveat emptor. Whether or not you want to take a risk is up to you.
