There is a big difference - bureaucracy. I know here in Vietnam if the requirement was a physical card, there would be very low odds that anyone would take a digital card.

But I'm hopeful you and the above are correct, I'm also waiting to transfer my Citi points on this issue.

Edit to add: Someone on Lucky's site commented they messaged Garuda on Twitter, and the reply was that yes the digital card is good enough. So the email wording sounds like it is ok, and now twitter makes it sound sufficient as well.
